Here's the day I’m alone, but I know it won’t last. The night air is cold, but I’m burning up inside. It’s almost completely silent, except for the sound of my fast pounding heart. I’m scared, I don’t know whether I want to run or whether I want to hide, either way it won’t be forever. Not when they discover what I’ve done. My breath is short and I feel physically sick. I’m numb from head to toe. My hands are trembling and I can’t control them. I stuff them inside my jumper pockets, in an attempt to regain control, and that’s when I rediscover it.
